Pastor

Philip DeBoef
Ass't Pastor

Chris Sampson

Philip DeBoef has stepped back into the pastorate of NsFCC. On Sunday, January 17th, 2010, after a little over four years, Phil was re-elected pastor of NsFCC. Phil brings a vibrant enthusiasm to our assembly along with his wife Jan. Even though Phil was not in a pastoral role over those few years, he has been very active in ministry throughout our community. Phil has played a huge part in the leadership here at NsFCC during a period of time when our assembly underwent some major restructuring. Phil has served several of those past four years as a church elder under the leadership of our former pastor, Phillip Schrauben. Phil is very much in step with the changes that have taken place which only raises his level of qualification to assume this leadership position.

Phillip & Sheila Schrauben were unanimously voted in as the new pastor of NsFCC on Sunday, August 27th, 2006. Pastor Phillip has been the Senior Pastor at New Sharon First Christian Church since September 16th, 2006.

He loves the New Sharon area and the makeup of NsFCC with younger and older families and individuals, the small town atmosphere makes him feel right at home.

Phillip is committed to clear and relevant teaching of the Bible as it applies to real life issues. He has a real heart for people and a desire to see them grow in their relationships both to Jesus Christ and to one another.

Phillip and his wife live on W. Maple with their 5 children. Sheila, Pastor Phillip's wife, is a stay at home mom. Isaac, their oldest son is in third grade, Zechariah (Zech) is in Kindergarden, and the 3 younger children keep Sheila on her toes. The Schraubens love doing things together, especially when it means dragging mom along.
